The dashboard currently features two specific safety topics, falls and medicines, to illustrate system thinking with a combination of lagging and leading indicators. This thinking could be applied to any other safety issue for inclusion here in the dashboard.

Are there other topics that you would like to view from a system wide perspective? What can you learn from these? Ideas for future indicators could include:

•  Processes, e.g. handovers
•  Pathways, e.g. cardiovascular pathway, stroke pathway, self-harm pathway
•  Specific harms, e.g. urinary tract infection, pressure ulcers, acute kidney injury, suicide
